Restoring you home or office after a water loss requires know-how and capable, expensive equipment. We have 80 industrial air movers and 25 desiccant and refrigerant dehumidifiers like those depicted below. When heavy storms strike our area of the country, we also have commitments from our local suppliers, other SERVPRO^® franchises, and the national suppliers to provide literally hundreds more air movers and dehumidifiers.

No job is too small or too large for SERVPRO^® of Northwest Dayton. When an entire apartment complex needed to be dried down, we super sized the equipment with one of our national SERVPRO^® vendors stacking the industrial sized desiccant dehumidifying units. We dried the entire complex in seven days! Not only did the rapid dry down save insurance restoration costs in excess of $35,000 for the drying process but also the fast mitigation prevented further water damage.

Water is not our only area of expertise. We clean carpeting, upholstery and drapes (in place), provide mold remediation, and cleanup soot and other damages after fire losses. We have invested in other specialized equipment for these jobs. We have 9 air scrubbers/negative air machines, numerous Hepa vacs, a soda blaster, and personnel protective equipment for mold remediation work.

We have a Titan photo catalytic oxidizer, a thermofogger, and an ozone machine for removing odors from fire losses and and other sources. We also have upholstery machines, the two truck mounts, and three portable extractors for cleaning carpeting, upholstery and draperies.

Sometimes, in a fire or water loss, there is no heat available at the job site. That's when Ralph, our friendly dragon, comes in handy (no relation to Heater or Gem of the Dayton Dragons minor league baseball team)! In no time our crews are comfortable and able to work on site restoring your home or office.

Sometimes a fire loss is rather substantial and the contents which can be restored must be moved out of your home or office while damaged areas are torn down and reconstructed. We move your contents to our new facility where we clean and store them until the construction work is done and you are ready to move back in. At our facility, we have additional equipment that can help with the cleaning processes:an ultrasound machine for cleaning items, washers and dryers for cleaning clothing, and a de-ionized water cleaning machine for cleaning computers, electronics, TVs, and microwaves.

Our newest acquisition is an Odell electronics cleaning station that uses de-ionized water. This unit allows us to thoroughly clean computers and their periphery equipment; electronics such as stereos, VCRs, DVD players, amplifiers; electronic test equipment; microwaves, and medical laboratory instruments with water and detergents. This capability at SERVPRO^® of Northwest Dayton is unique in the greater Dayton area. We are the only electronics restorer using aqueous technology.

Finally, as stated quality cleaning depends on know-how and capable equipment but to be effective it also requires exceptional cleaning products. SERVPRO^® Industries has their own R&D department for continuously developing new and improved cleaning products. These products cannot be bought in a store. They can only be purchased from a SERVPRO^® franchise. We use only products approved by the SERVPRO^® product department on all our cleaning, restoration and remediation jobs.
